I heart Grey Lynn.
Grey Lynn, Auckland NZ (March, 2011)
It is proposed, that for the week of the Grey Lynn 2030 Week in 2011, the streets in Grey Lynn be transformed into the site of an art exhibition. This new arts initiative would see local artists creating original artworks in the windows of shops across the suburb. It is envisaged that this showcase of site-specific artwork would include both emerging and established artists and would help establish Grey Lynn as Auckland’s creative center. Release a Bead.
Grey Lynn, Auckland NZ (August, 2010)
Release a bead is an global project spearheaded by the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, with the aim of expanding glass bead experiences all over the world. I am planning a series of bead releases with a difference over the course of 2010. I will release a series of ‘twin’ beads, with the idea that the finder keeps one of the beads and passes the second on to a stranger. I want to create an experience that contains the joy of both giving and receiving – encouraging kindness. For more details visit: http://islandglass.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/release-a-bead/

Honor Bead Project.
Artstation, Auckland,NZ (December, 2009)
Make a glass bead for an ordinary hero at the Honor Bead Project. Drop into Artstation on Sunday December 6th for a free glass beadmaking workshop. Creating a sense of community takes an enormous amount of work and effort. We believe it’s time our community worked together to honor more of these local heroes. Make a glass bead for one of the five nominees. For more details visit: http://islandglass.wordpress.com/2009/12/11/nominate-a-local-hero/
